AS A NATIVE of Clay County, I am passionate about this area. I have raised my family here and feel blessed that they have been able to stay here and raise their families here as well. I have been in Real Estate for 20 years and worked in the field for 35 years and I can honestly say that I love my job. I am familiar with the surrounding communities and know a lot of hidden secrets our beautiful area has to offer. I worked  as a land surveyor/engineer for 40 years and after my retirement decided to go into Real Estate with my better half SONJA SILVERS (BROKER/OWNER ) of the company. My wife Sonja and I enjoy spending time with our family and spoiling the grandchildren (7 total). Hi my name is Melody Morgan and I am a Clay County Native. I have been married to my wonderful husband Michael Ray for 26 years. We have two amazing children Gavin who is 25 and Averie who is 9. We also have two rambunctious basset hounds named Molly and Fred. After 8 years living in other wonderful parts of NC and working in the construction industry, where I gained tremendous experience in sales and business management, my wife and I along with our young daughter decided to move home and raise our family. We've since added two more beautiful children, a son and another daughter, to our family and built our forever home on family property.
